We are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and well-organized event for everyone involved. The following outlines the basic legal and participation guidelines.
1. Intellectual Property & Use of Stories
Storytellers retain full ownership of their stories. By submitting or presenting a story, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to record, stream, archive, and promote the content in connection with this event (including future promotional materials).
Please ensure your story does not include copyrighted music, images, video, or other protected material unless you have permission to use it.
2. Consent, Recording & Releases
- Storytellers must agree to a release allowing recording, livestreaming, and later reuse of their presentation.
- In-person attendees seated in visible areas may be captured on camera; clear signage will be posted.
If you prefer not to appear on camera, please choose seating are clearly off-camera.
3. Content Responsibility & Defamation
Storytellers are responsible for the content of their stories. Please avoid:
- False statements presented as fact that could harm others
- Naming private individuals without consent
- Hate speech, threats, or incitement
We may review or moderate submissions, but participation does not imply endorsement. Responsibility for content remains with the storyteller.
4. Privacy & Data Protection
We collect limited personal information (such as name, email, or phone number) solely for event coordination, communication, and participation management.
All personal data is handled in accordance with Mexico’s Federal Law on Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties and similar applicable regulations. Information is secured and never sold or shared without consent.

5. Liability & Venue Safety
Attendance is voluntary and at your own risk. We are not responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal property.
The venue is responsible for food service and alcohol policies. Attendees are expected to follow venue rules and drink responsibly.
6. Content Moderation & Removal
All live and recorded content must comply with applicable laws and the policies of streaming platforms used. We reserve the right to:
- Pause or end a presentation
- Remove participants
- Edit or withhold content from distribution
This may occur if guidelines are violated or if safety or legal concerns arise.
Submission of a story does not guarantee selection or inclusion in the event lineup. We reserve the right to decline any submission that we determine is not suitable for the event, does not align with our guidelines, or for any other reason. Due to time constraints and the goal of presenting a balanced, high-quality show, we may receive more strong submissions than we can accommodate. In such cases, we will curate the roster and may need to exclude some stories, even if they were initially considered. Decisions are made at our sole discretion to ensure the best experience for all participants and the audience.
7. Accessibility & Inclusion
We aim to make the event as inclusive as possible. Where feasible, we provide accessibility features such as captions or alternative participation options.
