It’s time for something new in Puerto Vallarta.
Inspired by the NPR storytelling phenomenon The Moth, Puerto Vallarta Friends and Events is launching The Iguana Story Hour—a lively evening of true, personal stories told in front of a friendly audience. Your host is none other than the vibrant, “Iguanarized” Crissy the Brazilian, bringing the energy, warmth, and just the right touch of mischief to keep the night moving.
You can join in person (if you’re lucky enough to be in PV) or watch live on YouTube, Facebook, and X. Either way, you’ll feel like you’re right there in the room—laughing, reacting, and soaking up the surprises that only real stories can deliver.
Here’s how it works: come as a storyteller or come as an audience member—enjoy dinner and drinks while you listen. If you have a wild, funny, touching, or unbelievable story to share, simply fill out the form and tell us a little about it. We’ll review the submissions and invite storytellers to the mic.
Out of town? You can still be part of the action. Tune in live and, if you’d like to share your story, you can participate remotely via Zoom.
And yes—the venue is part of the experience. We’re hosting at a brand-new, elegant restaurant that opened last November, featuring a huge monitor, great sound, a show kitchen, and a beautiful bar—the perfect setting for a night of stories, atmosphere, and great company. You will not be disappointed.
